Bigger brakes?

I have a '66 K10 Suburban with the original closed knuckle Dana 44. Years ago I converted it to front disks using '72 blazer parts. I have not driven the truck in years and part of putting it back on the road will be going through the brakes. I know from my involvement in hot rodding that the easiest way to improved braking is bigger brakes.
