I just bought a 2001 Toyota  and it idles around 1500 rpm's. I can't figure out why? On a computer it doesn't show a code for it. No engine light on. Can anyone help me out? Thank You. Please bear with me I'm a newbie, lol

I'm not too familiar with your year and model truck, but it's likely a sensor. Maybe Mass Airflow sensor or throttle position sensor. Also make sure there are no sticks or rat nests around the throttle body causing it to stick.
