2500 Rear end suspension question

I have a 1997 Dodge 2500 V10 and the Rear axel was spun out of the leafs when i bought it. I have replaced the blocks and the leafs/bolts. My question is this:

Is there suppose to be an anti-roll bar attached to the rear end to prevent this from happening?

The shocks are mounted correctly. I am just concerned that the v10 may have more torque than this suspension design can handle.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Is it stock or lifted? If lifted, have the lift blocks been stacked? This is a bad idea if so. If not, it is possible that the U-bolts were not properly torqued and/or they came loose. Keep an eye on the U-bolts either way and retorque them after about 500 miles.
