c1500 to K2500 body swap

I have a 1990 c1500 (auto) (now the 3rd generation in the family to drive it, you understand) and I have the opportunity to get a 1990 k2500 (manual) for cheap. How difficult would it be to swap the body from mine to the k2500?

I understand I would need to do some minor cutting for the 4x4 lever and shifter, but I imagine the body mounts would line up perfectly.

So from what I can think of, I would pull the engine and steering, unbolt the body and swap it onto the other frame.

Any ideas?

It should be a near bolt-on deal.

If I get this project going, I'll be sure to post pictures.
