Hey folks,

I am looking to place some larger tires on Stock 2007 F 350 with SRW.
Plan on two inch leveling kit for front, and am wondering if 35 inch tires (not sure which yet) will fit on 17 X 8 wheels and if so ,,what backspacing should I need.
May go for 17X 9 inch wheel if it will better accomodate the 35 's but am still in need of proper back spacing so I can sort out the tire wheel combo before I show up at tire place.
Oops, Truck is four wheel drive, 5.4 litre Gas, 4.10 Gears, five speed manual trans. FX4 Off road model.
Am leaning towrds BFG mud terrain or xxxx Cepek MT
many thanks in advance,
                   Lee.

A 17x8 will work fine on a typical 35-inch tire. I suspect you will want 3.5 to 4.5 inches of backspacing. You may want to test fit the wheels.

Ended up going with 33 inch Mickey Thompson ATZ's on Mickey Thompson classic 17x9 wheels with five inches of back spacing,Zero offset for my 2007 F-350 SRW 4x4.
35 inch tires, BFG MT's 35 x 12.50 x 17's rubbed on brake lines and plastic molding under bumper at full lock .XXXX Cepek MT's not load rated for weight of truck = Who knows?
Could have relocated brake line and trimmed plastic molding,(possibly bumper) but opted for smaller tire instead.
Somewhat hard to find wheel I liked with proper load rating and ditto for tires, but am pleased with my final choice.
