As some of you know its been crazy busy at my house.  between baby,  new house, new truck, finally getting my jeep back etc etc.....

so heres where im at.
Jeep is back,  4.56s  high pinion dana 30 up front with oil....still need to at least gusset the front end.   rear 8.8 half done thanks to the dependable off road who just really couldnt get it together unfortunatly....  I need to drill and tap a hole for the breather tube. and clean up the brake lines.  after that i need to run it and see what else i need to redo....

New truck.  got myself a 05 Cummins.   its tims old truck and is already built pretty well.  thuren parts, Kings all the way around.  lots o power

eye candy

been racing like crazy and its finally slowing down, so now time to get back in the garage before the baby comes.

So where is everyone else?

I'm still in the planning/research mode for my rig.  I sold the LJ a few months ago and still getting used to the JKU Rubicon on the trail.  Liking it so far but as with everything, it needs some updgrades.  *Hopefully* by the end of the year, I'll have some work done on it.

My truck is still mostly together. Gotta fix an upper link that is trying to rip its self from the truck for some reason.

It's way down on power too, I need to figure that out. The truck is slow, but not this slow.

And I think that is about it.

I painted my roll cage a couple months ago, when I had the seats out to do the sound deadening stuff. It was getting dingy, and I missed some spots the first time.

In my continuing quest to be self-reliant in the desert I installed an air compressor and tank. It's the new Air Zenith OB2 compressor and a 5-gallon tank. It's not wired or plumbed yet but it should handle airing up tires and running tools just fine.

My truck has recently been described as both "Boring and Mechanical". And I love it!

I haven't touched my Yota, it's still a bare frame, cab, and motor. My Taco is just a bare cab and half a frame with no plans anytime soon. Heck, I even pulled the rear axle out of the Samurai and half installed a later model axle with 3 link. I did replace by batteries and alternator the other day and my tires are starting to get bald. Funny thing is it doesn't really matter, Ezra is walking and starting to talk a bit so I am stoked!

What's the story with un-dependable off road?

Well my updates, I welded up a set of radius arms for some kid and he paid me in a set of leaky 3.0x14" tripple bypass kusters. A quick set of o-rings and they're good as new.

thats pretty much it, undependable.   everything looks rushed on the jeep.   but it does look straight and theres oil in it this time around...   if i had the time and space i should of just done it myself and pocketed the money.

Bolted in some leather wj seats

Gusseted my rear tire carrier

New rampage top.

The jeep has a miss fire in cyclynder 3-4 And my upper driver side CA bushing keeps popping out. New spark plugs and welding in bushing should do the trick.

The Cummins is getting some love.  Just got two new batteries put in, ordered a new deep trans pan, a temp gauge and a dual A pillar mount.  This is on top of the maintance that I will need to *** The steering box or pump is leaking.  The ARB is leaking oil still and I think my front drive shaft is squeeking... Need to find that mystery grease fitting and grease it....

well new tran pan is in, oil is changed.  The fluild looked pretty bad, I am pretty sure it was never changed.  I am going to drain and re-fill the next time I do my oil change.

I didn't have enough time to do the trans temp gauge yet... Next weekend....

Oh if you are planning to do a U joint on a 2500... Take it to a shop.  I tried, it's a PITA.  I might try one  more time, but if that doesn't work, I will need to take it to a drivetrain shop to get them pressed out and back in.
