Mojave Road - March 10-12 2011

It's that time I feel... time to start planning the annual Mojave Road trip for this coming March, 2011. This will be the will mark the 5th Annual March MR Trip.

Date: March 10th-12th (13th maybe) 2011
What: Mojave Road
Where: Barstow CA (Slash X) to Laughlin NV (Hotel TBD)

General Agenda: Leave Barstow CA Thursday morning, camp Thrusday nigh, finish the trail into Laughlin on Friday, stay at the hotel to be determined (whatever is cheapest when we get close, River Palms usually is and has great parking, but we'll see what's available later) and Saturday return home Via the highway or off-road.

Here is how this years trip is going to work. Due to size this trip is going to be 'invitation only' with a catch. If you have joined us on one of our MR trips in the past you are invited. Along with those that have gone before we are opening FIVE spots for new people to join the trip. This is all. Period. If you want to go get your name on the list ASAP.

Below is the list of names that I can come up with from previous years. If I have left you off I apologize and will add you to the list. If you are on the list and can't go let me know and I will remove your name from the list.

All attendees MUST confirm by February 14th 2011 or you will be removed from the list and your spot given away.

That all said this is going to be an awesome trip. Kevin and I have been working hard this off season to make this the best March MR trip ever and we'll keep information flowing as time goes on. For now, who is in?

I put justin in   he went last year in the dodge cummins.  he will be taking the willys this year.
also added the other Justin that came in the LJ.  he said hes in.  Rico has to work (in alaska) so hes out
Id also like to emphasize having your vehicle ready for this.  mojave road is easy as far as difficulty but it will shake rattle and roll your vehicle apart. if you cant get your rig reliable and maintained prior please dont come. im not being mean but it makes the trip go bad when we are constantly working on cars instead of enjoying the trip.  granted if something goes out on a maintained vehicle its an accident and understandable.

This will probably be my truck's farewell voyage, as I'm getting rid of her later this year, so put me in the slow 'sightseeing' group.
