Maby somebody can help us. We have a completely stock '82 F-150 short bed, 300 I-6, 4 speed 4X4. We are looking to add a little lift. First, we are on a budget. What I need to know is: how much lift will the stock rear shackles support? I am looking for around 4 inches of lift and don't want to lower the bump stops for maximum travel.
