any mechanics familiar with JTEKT may be able to answer this..JTEKT uses the Intelligent 4X4 "ITCC" and they also have a Rotary Blade Coupling system 4X4. Can somebody explain to me what, if any differences and benefits of having the RBC system rather then the ITCC system? I contacted the company but have not received any reply so I figure after a week I'll try here.

This is for the Escape. I have been given the answer and I am going to stay with the ITCC. I think besides the Rancho quick lift or Bilstein coil overs I'm about finished until I get new tires next time around. I haven't heard anything from Bilstein or Rancho. Kind of bums me out since I've been using Rancho shocks since age 20 and I'm 42 now..You can probably answer this. The quick lift can be set for zero lift correct? Later I can lift up to 3". my goal is to go the largest tire size I can go w/o lifting but cutting the wheel wells. ford has done a nice job on they lay-out for the cut on the '08 escape. It's pre-marked and waiting for these 30" tires to wear.....Go big change the gearing but keep it a daily driver and a weekend Olympic Moutian trail hound..

I believe the minimum on the QuickLift is 1" of lift, I don't think they have a 0" setting. I have never worked with one so I can't be 100% positive, but I'd say 75%. I know for a fact the Bilstein unit's have a 0" lift setting.

Thanks, i sent Josh I think his name is from your mag some pics he asked for re: my struts. He said he might have some luck talking to a person he knows from Bilstein. So I am hoping to hear from him if he gets a reply from his friend.
