I have a 93 4 wheel drive 2500 suburban with a bb 454 in front of a 4l80e  and what im wanting to know is what it would take to put a allison automatic in place of the old trans.  
93 454 2500 suburban 4 inch lift with 35s

It will bolt right up, the problems you will have will all be computer related.  You would most likely have to look into getting some type of stand alone computer to manage the shift points of the Allison.  I'm sure it's been done before.  As a matter of fact, on another forum that I belong to, www.thedieseltruckresource.com, there is a guy (from Colorado I think) who is putting those trannies behind the Dodge Cummins trucks, so it can be done.
