Just picked up another xj,

I forgot my password for xjdualsport so I have become reborn as twin89xjs.
So in realizing that 2500hds get horrible mpgs, and enjoying the fact that xj's are the most amazing suv's ever built. I have sold my truck and I have purchased a wonderful 89 4 door Inline six, aw4 auto beauty. It is the limited edition, I get to enjoy the creature comforts of pleather  and powered mirrors those are the only things still working lol. But for 800$ couldn't pass it up.
Being able to swap parts is sweeeeet.

The xj really gets much better mpg than the 2500??
My 89xj with the 258 6 only got 9-11mpg, and my 2500 duramax got 14-17.... 
I won't touch the part about "most amazing SUV ever built" that is just asking for trouble....

my 99 xj gets 21 mpg highway. and doesnt get any less than 15mpg. i also am running the 5spd tranny. do you have any pics?
99 cherokee, 5spd, stock with front and rear tow points and 30 x 9.5 wrangler GS/As. costume front bumper with 7inch optronic lights and TJ flares modified.

good gas mpgs....i have a 99xj that gets worse the my heavy chevy did...xj gets maybe 15mpg with 33s and 410s...heavy chevy 5.7 with mods....16 -17 mpg....go figure....lol

Doc not a bad deal for an $800 project vehicle. Find any more let me know.

44's both ends with 4:56 gears. Auto 3speed and Atlas 11 (4.3). 35" Mud Terrians.
Detriot in rear and Lock-Rit in front.

Oh dang, I didn't realize that this was Nick.
What do you need 2 XJs for? Doesn't 1 take up enough room in the driveway? lol
His "2500HD" had the little 6.0 in it trying to move a heavy truck on 35s. I don't blame you for getting rid of it, but you shoulda bought a Duramax.

george i can get cheap xjs up in OR, all day long for under $1000.....im looking to get one for a daily driver then when sam starts driving its hers. ....there all over here....i had now idea it was nick either...lol
