Im not planning on running my jeep this year, too many sensors and crap for that harsh a trip. I still would love to go and will chip in with food/gas/hotel. We can discuss open seats when the trip nears, just wanted to throw it out there to keep it in mind.

Nope.
lol, yes I do have a TIG. I have a Hobart TIGMATE, not the most advanced machine in the world but she works for what I need one for.

Put me in as a "maybe" I want to say yes right now, but I MIGHT have sold the rig by then. The family has grown itself out of my truck so the time is near to say goodbye too it. If I haven't sold her by March, then maybe a farewell trip is in order. 
One day I will have a dedicated trail rig.
Maybe I'll just rent me a truck and get the insurance on it.

i wouldn't miss this trip. i'll be there in my truck, i want to have installed my 302 by then. but not too sure at this point. in the middle of a new bedcage and maybe some upgraded beam ends. got some new tires, gears and an open diff(rather than spool). should be able to make the trip back this year!

update, got some new sneakers. new 3rd member. just painted the bedcage. cage work is done, but i'm adding some special touches to it. just need new beam ends and basic prep and i'll be ready to rock n roll. 3 months are going to fly by, so what's the roll call???

Like to be on this one but TDS Desert Safari is 5,6,7 and your trip is planned for the following week. Any chance pushing it back another week to 19-21.

well i got some good news...for those that know that i work for a aftermarket shop...ive been buging the owner to help me out on some free stuff for building my jeep xj.....so as of last night i texted him my small list.....i should now somthing it the next day or so........
