Yes im new to mudding an i have a 1986 Ford 1 ton F-350 witha 460 engine...I was wandering if someone could tell me how to lift this thing an fix it so when i enter into this springs mud bog where I live, I'll see everyones head turnin my way in aww.Im jus an o'l farm boy who wants to fix up his first mud truck an show some mudding spirit. If anyone has any suggestions at all please let me know I want something that stands way out an goes threw everything....thanks Nickoli

Well, my advice would be to pull the body off, and drive a Chevy underneath it!  Ha, ha, that's funny.  Now, seriously, if you want to do it right, for deep mud, you need big tires.  For big tires, you need hp and big axles.  You've got the hp covered with the 460.  Look at slapping some rockwells underneath that beast combined with about 10" of lift and find your tire of choice in the +44" range and have a ball.
