1/2 ton to 3/4 info

 i have a 1995 chevy 3/4 ton short bed 4x4 . i love this truck but i have been wanting a 1969 chvey truck short bed 4x4 3/4. the only thing i can find is 1/2 ton short bed. so what im asking can you make you 1/2 ton truck in to a 3/4?? and is there a way that i can make the truck drive like a new one also?? pleas help me out. Thank for your time reading this( sorry for the spelling im not that good at it)Dylan L
