wow, never knew.
that's assuming the head gasket leak is not due to warpage though, right?

ya exactly. i never had an overheat where the temp went red it went 3/4s at the most and also i dont think it would work with a large hole. however ive seen it work with a cracked head. i saw coolant dripping from the side on my buddys truck alont time ago and he tried a similar truck. i dont know how long it lasted at least 2 yrs

Nice! I like it when a plan works out.
Funny thing, I used that stuff too a few years back. My Ranger has some head problem with cylinder 4 and was fouling plugs and burning coolant. So I tossed in some of that $3 stuff that looks like sand/saw dust mix and it cured it right up. Go figure. Been running fine for years. Some times you just get lucky!
