i'm planning on fabricating a roll cage for my toyota pickup. i've done a few mustangs, and the bars attached to plates on the floor. is this sufficient on a body on frame vehicle, or should they attach to the frame? if they should attach to the frame, does it attach to an outrigger or should the bar angle in to meet the frame itself? thanks for any help.
it's more like a pebble crawler

Yes, yes and yes. Any of these methods are acceptable.
