I won a 1977 350 long block that is in my shop and my 1995 tahoe is smoking real bad and using or burning oil. My question can I put the new 350 in the tahoe by just swapping long blocks and installing the intake and tbi that's already in use?

you'll have to oval out the center 2 intake bolt holes on each side of the intake to get it to bolt to the older heads, also you will have to replace the cam to one to match the TBI, a carberated cam won't always work with Tbi setup (found this out the hard way on a big block). also RTV the center 2 bolts on each side of the intake befor you torque them, if you don't they may leake.
It's NOT what you buy, It's what you Build so build it big or leave it on the trailer

Sounds like it maybe better to redo the heads on my tahoe and use them on the new 350.
