i want to put in a solid axle in my rig so that i can get 35'' rubber on it. im on a buget so what vehicle/year can i get an axle with wms measurements of 58'' to 60'' side to side width, driverside drop and do i need to do anything so that i can still use my stock wheels for awhile? what type of steering knuckels will work with my stock rotors and calipers? and will have a lug pattern of 5-4.75''. I would want to keep most of the stock stuff. i know i need a drop arm, crosslink and longer brake lines and are there any axles that will work as a springover set up?  any help is great.

Your wheels won't work, unless you find spacer/adapters.

Your brakes won't work. Don't half ass safety.

Any Jeep front axle would probably be your best bet width wise.

This type of task will involve a lot of fabrication so you can set it up what ever way you like, spring under, spring over, coil, coil over, link, radius arm, whatever.

A SAS really isn't something you should tackle with the 'cheap as I can' mind set.

go to your dodge dealer... get some dana 44's from a rubicon... they'll come with lockers and everything else already... so all you'll have to do is setup your suspension... help me out guys... i'm not sure if it's 3 link or 4... but it's a coil spring setup...
