I have a 84 k10. 4spd granny trany and 454BB. everything else is stock. what i want to know is how much lift would i need to put 38.5's on it? I am planning on cuting the wells.

Also im geussing the 10 bolts wont be able to handle 38.5's. Is it worth it to build up the 10bolts or just put on some 12 or 14 bolts on it?

38's? Put a 14 bolt in it. No amount of 'build' is going to help a 10 bolt survive that.

Six inches with cutting should do the trick.
