Hello all, im new to this forum and am looking into getting into wheeling with a truck that will also get me up and down the east coast. I found a really good deal on a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 extended cab.  It has the 4.8 liter v-8 in it, bone stock. i was looking at lift kits and they usually run around 1500 bucks, and i was hoping to get 33 or 35 inch tires on it.  Where can i find some info do to something like this. the kit says it comes with everything, but what about drive shafts and steering components that are connected to the frame from the body? These things need to be lengthened too correct? Thanks for any input.

No sir, if you get a suspension kit then none of the steering or other body/frame attached items will be affected as all you are changing is the suspension. And typically if you stay under 8" of lift the drive shafts are fine too.
