14k for a 5 year old tahoe?

you are CRAZY man.

I think you should sell your junk, go on pirate4x4.com classifieds, and pick up a NICE rig with that money.. it could be a late model DD too if you want.

hmmm, i have had the same dilemna with my scout, i keep it because i can't ever replace it, i don't know your history with your truck but if it is valuable to you in a sentimiental way then i would say just keep it and wait for your conditions to change or just find a buddy or someone on here who can help you work on it.

Like my scout for example, my grandfather was the original owner and i grew up riding in the back of that thing, 7 years ago it was given to me so ya. Shop around for your next truck, the market is so flooded with trucks with people being out of work and construction slowing down, i bought my Superduty for $5000 below bluebook, ther are deals to be had.

Exactly, people are afraid of V8's and Diesel trucks because of gas/fuel prices

Wait, you have a Blazer? I say get the Tahoe, you don't off-road much anyways right? Throw a mild lift and 35s on it and it could be fun.
