need to get u joint off of rear drive shaft . it has no snap ring

Do you have a picture of it?
You should be able to just press it out like a normal u-joint. There's no real science to these things, if it doesn't come out at first get a bigger hammer.
I know what you're saying about the no snap ring though. In that case it probably only goes in/comes out one way. So you'll just have to look and find the side with the larger ID and press it out that way.
Or I could be totally off and it's some other funky design I've never seen before.

thanks for the help i got it out. just a little info there are 6 different size ujoint caps for this truck so if u need to do this take your old ujoint with u to the part store
