I think I got it fixed.  I turned up the radio full blast and the tick tick was gone...

No not really...good one tho..

I took off the skid plate covering the transfer case.  Found an old dried out piece of shrubbery. No More tick.  How simple it was.  How dumb I was.
 Told you guys... I didn't know *** from shineola when it came to 4x4s

Thanks for the help.  Maybe this thread will help some poor bastard like me with the same problem.
