I have a 67 GMC with a closed knuckle d44 with drum brakes on it and I just bought an open knucled d44 with disc brakes but no calipers came on the axle. Are there specfic chevy calipers that I need to get for this axle?

go with a caliper for a mid 70's, and also you will need a new perporting valve off a similar year, the 1/2 and 3/4 ton's used the same cailpers in those years
It's NOT what you buy, It's what you Build so build it big or leave it on the trailer

Thanks I will do that. I was also wondering what brand of dual stacked steering stablizer you have on ole 83 chev clifford? Skyjacker seemes to be the only one for this type of application. I have good luck with rough country stuff, but dont see on with dual stacked stablizers.

Rancho, that's what I'm running, it's a universal live axel applecation for ford chevy and dodge I like it alot other than the lower one hangs below the axel tube a lil bit
