Ive been doing research and have been finding some ads and posts about 1987 v10s instead of a k10s. Is a v10 a different model? Does it have anything to do with the fact that TBI was made an option in 1987?

I believe that the Suburban, and maybe even the Blazers were given given the "V" designation at some point, but don't quote me on that.

Well, remember that 87 was the last year of the straight axle pickup, and the 1st year of fuel injection. It could be that the 87-91 blazers and burbs were given the "V" designation.
