The first cut is always the scariest. The project came out pretty well, Sliders are on too. I still have to trim the rear, the front needs a little more on the bumper but is pretty much done.

so thats wat my mothers grociery getter would look like lifted! looks good. i know wat you mean wen it comes to cutting sheet metal. i recently did TJ fender flares modified to fit my XJ. cutting was kind of a nervous experience.

smart approach man, wheel with us, see what works and what doesn't, and then go straight to the winning combo. I like it!
it looks like the front rims have less backspacing than the rear???

I think it may be the camera angle and the fact that the fron fenders are cut away. Ill do the rear this weekend.

actually all vehicles for stability reasons have a slightly wider wheel track up front then in the rear, the effect is hidden when the wheels fit inside the fenders. remember those three wheeler atc's back in the day, super dangerous and unstable because they were so narrow up front.

you are correct on the reasoning of that mono, but I'm not sure about all vehicles having that, or most even.. I'll measure my durango wheel to wheel, my sister's bmw, and my truck even, and will post up with what I find. I could swear they are the same front/rear...

trust me, you would not want a car with narrower front wheel track when compared to rear, my scout, superduty, wife's car and my old 68 dodge truck are wider up front then the rear. the measurent i am talking about is the wheel moutnting surface, since a dually is obviously wider in the rear but is still very stable.
