2006 H3 with the 3.5 litre I-5 motor.

Interesting truck, to say the least. I LOVE the H3 styling and I think it's the best looking rig to ever wear the Hummer logo (and yes, I take the HMMWV and Hx concept into mind when i say that). Visibility wasn't as bad as I expected, though it wasn't real great. The seats were pretty comfortable and the steering wheel was massively fat, which is good for people like me with big hands. The premium sound system is simply amazing! I found the gauge clusters easy to read and the 4WD controls are very straight forward. However, the truck is gutless. An early 90's Honda Accord was faster down an on-ramp than I was in the H3 and I was foot to the floor. Also, the gas and brake pedal were a little too close together and I kept clipping the side of the brake pedal with the side of my foot.

Overall, the pedal clearance isn't bad, but I'm going to wait until I can afford an Alpha model before I buy an H3. The lack of power was a complete deal killer for me.
