1992 k1500 jurking when driving 40-55.

My 1992 silverado k1500 is jurking when I am crusing between 40 and 55 mph I cant tell if it is the trans or a miss-fire (I think It is a miss-fire) any one else have this problem. It dosent do this all the time just sometimes. My truck has 194000 miles and runs good except for this problem. please help me.

hi,i live in italy and have a silverado 5.7 v8 1992 that have a same problem of your truck,you have resolved your problem?
i have ask in italian chevy garage but don't say tell me for this problem my silverado,we have tell me that maybe are a fuel pump or smart box of injection,but in italy the parts ok chevy truck are too expensive and after sell it i want are sure of my problem,
i hope you can help me...thanks very much and greatings from italy,

If you haven't done a complete tune up on your truck than that is a place to start. A miss or jerking at cruising speed is a symptom of bad ignition wires.You saying you think it is a miss fire is leading me to think it's the wires.

hi,i have ask for this problem because i know that this problem is usually in silverado 5.7 but in italy this truck it's much rare one,
i have already replace spark plug,spark module control,distributor with total ignition module,spark plug wires,fuel filter,air filter,i have controlled all pipages of ignition but the problem it's still....
now i want replace ignition coil and fuel pump,after if is necessary i replace also smart ignition box...i hope:-)
