i have a 03 f-150, an i am wondering if i can make it stronger, if possible my putting a 3/4 ton axle, driveline, transmision, an suspension into my 1/2?  reason is i am planning on getting a camper, an the rating is to heavy for a 1/2 ton. 10,000 to 14,000 gvw.  i realy dont want to add another truck payment, so i was wonderin if i can upgrade this?

You could do all that but you would also have to find a way to fortify the frame/steering/brakes as well

Steering and Brakes would be upgraded with the 1-ton axles.

Frame is fine on these trucks.

You can totally swap in the running gear from a Super Duty... just going to cost a good bit and take some work. Would be pretty sweet though!
