i have always built fullsize but i'm tired of trying to manuever through the trails with monster rigs. I have an 83 ranger i aquired for cheap cheap, installed a 3 in. body lift, cut fenders and installed 33's. I had to do a lot to fix the cab mounts and the lift was necessary with the condition of the truck and rust. I think this has the ford 7.5 and dana 28 ttb front not sure which tranny or even motor besides a 6 banger. My issue is finding a mini spool for the rear i will never go over 35's with it and this is an extremly low budget build. I have a 9" rear and 44 front out of a 76 bronco the narrow ones but want to wheel whats in this untill it blows then do the full swap. installing 4.56's a lock right front and a full spool rear i have had spooled rears in all my rigs and can handle the issues in rain and low traction street conditions. can someone steer me in the right direction as far as upgrades and how hard this front end swap will be? I have a welder hand grider and every hand tool imaginable. I do all my own metal work and was curious what front springs i'll want for good flex. I have made a heavy bumper on the front so i need something with tension.
.........................I respect all brands and breeds of rigs just prefer ford.
