whats the best sounding, and or best performance exhaust for k5?

im tryin to decide what kind of headers;exhaust to get and i cant decide! yall gotta help me. i want somethin that sounds good (ppl know im comin) and also good performance. help!

Sounds like you want loud. Can't go wrong with a Flowmaster 40 series for that.
I'll let the K5 guys comment on headers.

flow masters are awesome for exhaust, i had edel brock headers on the last k5 and they were cool not sure how to tell whats bad. but i also live in cali so i had to get the ones with a seconary tubes on top. boo boo

doug thorley...also makes smog header.....best on the market

I had an 84 blazer, and i just had stock headers with 2" exhaust and glass packs, sounded pretty good to me, now i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500 and i need some advise on exhaust systems and something to give me some more power, any suggestions anybody

i finally picked up my k5! its an 89 silverado. 81000 miles and glass packs, but has a small, very small exhaust leak. want a quick fix. suggestions?

Glasspacks are the way to go. Cherrybombs if you can.
