transfer case identification

I have a couple of transfer cases sitting in my shop and I was wondering how I could identify them. One is out of an 80's K5 Blazer. The other was in a truck set up to run mud drags.

Or
If it's a New Process there should be a round tag on the back, and if it's a Borg Warner there should be a rectangle tag on the bottom. Beyond that we would have to see it.
