Your credibility is in serious question, that's why you made the thread disappear.

Put the thread back so everyone can see how disrespectful and dumb I am.

"I think it's funny anybody calls them frame stiffeners. There's no frame to stiffen. I even put a little smiley-face."

Then with your expert opinion what would you call that section of the unibody???

"You should probably chill a bit and allow others the same freedom to voice an opinion as you allow yourself."

I didnt delete any posts or edit.  maybe if you didn't come off as a prick with "some" of your comments people wouldn't get on your case.  i say "some" cause ive seen a few posts with good info posted by you.

Remember your hood vent thread? Did they fix your overheating problem?

Yes i remember and yes they helped alot more then you thought.  driving with them 4 weeks in a row on the highway it not once went over 215. With outside temps in the high 90s to 100s.  usually it runs 220 or above with outside temps that hot.  I havnt had it on the highway since i swapped out water pumps yet, but im really hoping it helps out even more and i never go over 210 again.

"Remember the Fox stickers?"
yes i do, you wanna see a picture???   I along with others had no clue it was different company. did you see when jason corrected me and I since swapped to the correct ones???

"Oh and by the way. I have an XJ that I try to keep going that sees a lot of rock-time here in Phoenix. "

Don't want to answer the question? It's cool. That's all the answer I need.

And you want to see disrespect, just look at what my Moderator just quoted of you saying to him. Proof enough right there.

Kevin and Jason need thicker skin ---> I'm including a bunch of smileys!!

thread deleting is GAY GAY GAY sorry guys, prove your point or do your best to, and at worst LOCK the thread, but deleting is GAY

I don't think FT came off disrespectful or snowman like, he is disagreeing with some of the folks, but what's wrong with that?? Nothing IMO... its the internet and sometimes it comes across like the person is being rude or disrespectful but text just has a way of doing that, he even said he used a smiley, cut him a break..

Those race jeeps are fully caged, and anyway solid axle does not do that good at fast speeds simply because of the geometry.. I wouldn't call xj/wj/zj disposable by any means, but to do anything serious with them you have to really cage it out and make it solid, but then that's with any rig..

p.s. degree in something doesn't mean everything, especially that everything the person says must be true. Often times, real world experience/knowledge can teach you more than a book with hypothetical situations can.. I have no idea what the argument was about, just making a general statement that degrees are over-rated
(or maybe I'm just trying to justify dropping out of high school)

I'm waiting for someone to say that when you wheel in the snow you need chains.

Hmm, the torsion bar thread is still not back. What gives Jason? Why won't you put it back?

You asked for credentials? This is really funny Jason. Seems like the more you respond, the deeper you trip over your pride.

In the thread that Jason deleted, a question was asked about torsion bars. I answered the question and Jason disagreed with the answer. That's fine, so I followed up with a link to some supporting info that was printed in the January 2009 edition of  Four Wheeler. Click Here for the same link that I posted "The Last Word On Torsion Bars. We Think"

If you'll notice the guy identified his "Credentials" as being "... a vehicle systems engineer with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in mechanical engineering" and the owner of a company that "deals primarily in torsion-bar suspension products".

Pretty impressive you'd think? But not to Jason. Jason wrote the biggest bunch of gibberish to explain to the great unwashed why the quy with "Credentials" didn't know what he was talking about. Now that's funny. Furthermore, you'll also notice that the Four Wheeler editor's response agreed with the guy with "Credentials". Still, not good enough for Jason.

But at some point I guess it did become obvious to Jason because the thread disappeared. Would it not have been much easier Jason to just say "Hmm, I learned something today"?

So now Jason pesters to know my credentials. The other guy's credentials didn't matter! Well Jason, my credentials in this case only need to be "Reading". I know how to read the magazine that you work for. Kind of pathetic!

The most basic concept of physics is force. Learning about force is day1 in a high school physics class. You can't see force. You really only see the effects of unbalanced forces. If there are not any unbalanced forces, then there is nothing to see. But that does not mean there are not any forces at play. By the end of the first week of a high school physics class, you would know how to solve a basic force problem and know what a vector is. Any high school physics student who read what you wrote would have been embarrassed for you. No degree required!

You may be able to impress people who are not very educated, but wouldn't you rather impress educated people? Take a physics class!

Now if all this is not funny enough, "your" moderator used the name "prick" in a post that you held up as an example of good decorum.

Act like a professional Jason, this is where you work. Set a good example so that this forum is respectful. Snowman is gone, but the crap still remains. That's a reflection on you and your moderators.
