I would like to eventually put a 5.3 vortec in my zr2, i would like to know if there is a kit for this or aftermarket support at all. any info is appreciated. thanx.

Not that I have ever seen. Though I can't imagine it would be super difficult to pull off as there are stand alone engine and transmission control units for that powertrain.

There is one in readers rides that claims to have a 350 in it but i would like to have the 5.3 like in a Bigger Z, hopefully the wiring wouldnt have to be changed too much to have it work properly. i am not apposed to also the trans out of the bigger Z too if it will make the difference in this being possible. I know that the radiator would be changed and moved forward, motor mounts changed/moved. Driveshaft custom built.The ecm and other wiring would also be used from the donor bigger Z.We all know it CAN be done - but if it has, i want to know how. get some specifics.

Apparently this has got the interest of alot of readers, the one guy that has done this successfully that i know of has not responded to me. I am somewhat dissapointed by this but hopefully he's just really busy building other awsome rigs. If anyone else has info on this that they like to share, i would be overjoyed. Thanx!
