I was wondering how to measure the leaf springs for a lift for a suburban, and which would be better for 35in tires a 4" or 6" lift. And I have 35s under it now but rubs alittle when cut hard so I want that gone, and how do you recal the speedo? Any help would be nice.

4" would be best if you already have the 35's on it with now lift.
You just have to take the manufacturers word for the lift amount, there's not really an easy way to measure leaf springs for lift.
What year burb? There could be a few ways to recalibrate the speedo.

It is an 87 burb. At slow speeds the speedo is 7 miles off that is around 10 miles an hour on the speedo, at highway speeds at 45 on the speedo it is running 60. So it is off 15 there.

Yea, it will do that, as it's a percentage off.
On an 87 electronics won't help you. Your best bet will be to look for a new speedo gear. I know they exist for a lot of vehicles, but I'm not 100% positive about Suburbans.
