purchased the second quadravan made in early 1974. I can't remember the name of the guy that started the company but he had a contract with Broadway Ford in Los Angeles. The one I bought was one of three used as promos in trade shows. I purchased this one when they were done with the Chicago car show...it has 300,000 miles on it...body's in excellent shape...no rust or anything. Still has original paint. If you're interested in it contact me. I'm in the Los Angeles area. Thanks

72beasty: anyone have or seen one of these originals?
I have a 1974 quadravan with a Chinook poptop, propane stove, 3-way fridge, sink and a homemade platform bed for two in the back. About 60,000 miles on second 302; burns no oil. I replaced original carburetor with a manual choke Holley -- much easier to start at high altitude. Has a special manifold. Two gas tanks totalling 47 gallons plus 5 gallon jerry can on rear door. Limited slip on front differential to inhibit getting stuck in soft desert sand. a/c needs condenser repair or replacement. Due for timing chain replacement. Currently registered and insured in California. Owing to my age, 75, I am planning to put it for sale on Craigslist in SFBay. If interested, make offer.

Here's a link to a few of mine. About 1000 bucks invested, including the price of the van. Matt
