dont have anyone helping me and i only have the experience of a few basic repairs for the truck
there are a few more minor things that i would like to fix but dont know if i have the ability or resources.
the front left outside cv boot needs to be replaced but i dont know if that is too difficult?
also the front left axle connection to the transfer case(not sure if thats what it is?)i have been told it is leaking because i drove through too deep of water and believe it to be a seal.any advice or if i can fix that myself or how to prevent it again?

you can go to local auto zone or parts store and get a replacment half shaft..you cant replace the boot..if the diff is leaking then you need to take it in to be opened and new seals put in....good luck

half shafts are real easy to replace..you can replace the boot but its allmost more then a half shaft plus the boots dont last that long...you need to check you diff fluid to see if your low.you can run it with it leaking just watch your fluid levels..

try using pb blast.. works alot better and let it sit for 30mins or so..are you using a wrench or socket? use a socket...make sure there no slop in the socket..if you still cant get it...heat the bolt up alittle with a troch but be care full not to start a fire...
