hello, im new, and would like to know if my setup is worth a damn

got a '78 chevy with 14bolt SF and 10bolt 8lug (came off an '86 burban w/ 4:10 posi)

the thing is im runnin 40" swampers on these axles and was wonderin if im going to be ok with being a pavement pounder with the occasional "light" offroading?

i hope so because i do not want to look into upgrading anything for $ reasons alone

thanks very much in advance!

Im guessing it would depend on what type of light wheeling you are doing. for the street it would be fine just make sure you are running the right gear ratios for your tire size.4wheelparts should be able to tell you what gears you need.
