I have an 08 silverado. My problem is its a V6 and its a 4x2. I would like to put a RC 7.5" lift with 35" tires on it. Now to be honest with you I know im breaking all the rules because 1. its a V6 and 2. its a 4x2, but my intentions are for it to be primarily be a street driver and rarely take it off road. I JUST WANT THE COOL LOOK! AND NOT TO SPEND LOTS OF MONEY! So my question to all of you is- Can my truck handle this? If so how bad will it bog my truck down? How much of a drop in gas mileage can i expect? And what is the cheapest lift, wheels, and tires i can buy that will last a long time.
Thanks Watts,

i would put the CST 7inch lift and run procomp steel black wheel there real cheap..unless you what chrome..then run a BFG allterain....unless you want mud terrain...the biggest thing is to regear the rear axle so you can run the 35s with the v6....good luck
1999 jeep xj,and o so much to do

7 inch is way to high, go with a 3-4 in lift and run 33s

you can go to 4wheeldriveparts.com or 4wheeldrivehardware.com and they can help you with the gearing.
