about of couple of weeks ago we had a bad snow storm in SD about 7in after that all melted i decided to tryout my 75 Chevy in the massive mud that layed about my place i live out in the country cause i run a ranch and im a big fan in fooling around in the mudd pitts and my 75 Chevy is lifted with a 4in sus and a 2in body the engine is a 383 big block 4 barrel carb man does it have some muscle i dont kno the HP cause i didnt dyno tested it yet but it gots some horses and torque, i fitted the drivetrain with a turbo 350 trans and a NP205 while curious about how it would do i tested it to the worse conditions and some places where still covered in snow deep snow i gotta admit it took whole lot beating especially my front bumper and fenders cause i hit them on some rocks cause my tires didnt have the traction so it slipped and hitt some rocks on the side of the mountain i was trying to climb, after all the things i did with it i never had to the chance to try out my new winch i got for it cause i didnt seem to get stuck and when i did get stuck i juss push the truck to the limit and makin it through bout the only things i seemed to broke on it was juss the bumper, fenders, and nearly tippin it over but it did good and rite now im workin of a 78 Ford 1/2 ton to test out, one of my buddies happen to join me he was driving a 77 Ford i think about the only thing he ruind was a tie rod and steering box but nothing to serious

look, myself, i like diesels in 4 wheelin rigs.  by far ford has everybody in the diesel wars.  but gas jobs, it all depends on how its built.  if u have a chevy or a ford and if its big, if u don't 4 wheel with it ur a SALLY.

Have You Driven over a Ford Lately

I agree.  I had a 94 dodge 4x4 dually and the cummins kicked ass.  I sold it to a friend at 200k miles and recently turned over 245kmiles and finnaly a new clutch.  Still going strong.  Sucks ass in the mud because of pizza cutter tires and large wieght.  can't beat dana 60 front and dana 80 rear.  Swap wider wheels/tires and would keep up with anyone.  Besides turbo whine is SWEET.  

Personaly i like ford but its all about opinion unless u buy an import then you are a dumbass! as long as its american its good!

i pulled a ford out of a hole and then went in it myself and had to get a farm-all tractor to get me out. The ford went in......under.....and died. My chevy.....went in.........and dug and dug and dug up to the windshield....... And it is still running today. Somehow????
