Of the old one I would have to say pre 73 or after 79 because beween those years they used that darn full time NP203 and a "hubless" front axle.

I do not think it ever died really. This is a debate that never ends whether it is here or somewhere else. Al trucks have their good and bad points though but some more than others.

i personally own a chevy but just to say if anyone has a 2wd pickup, pullin out 4x4, than they would be better off goin to the local show and shine contest because 2wd pickups we not ment to be offroaded very much

i'd have to go with chevy all the way. my future truck is a 1991 ext. cab 4x4 silverado K1500. CHEVY IS THE BEST.

My dad has a '00 F150 and the only prob w/ it is that the POS Goodyears can't keep up w/ the power, oh, and it has the Triton, the best gas V8 ever in a pickup. And read Fourwheeler's own diesel comparo, the Ford Powerstroke desroyed. Even the name-over-numbers Cummins couldn't keep up. The Hemi is nothing the way it should be and is a disgrace to the name. But I drive Jeep with 200k miles on it and after gaskets there ain't a thing wrong with it. My dad tows our 32' boat with our truck (the Triton) and he says you can hardly notice it. Oh, and if Ford is such junk, why has it been the number one selling truck for nearly 30 years straight, all the way since back when trucks were built to work. Bulit Ford Tough. FORD- First On (mud)Racing Day. Chevrolet- Cheap, hardly efficient, virtualy runs on luck everytime.  Oh and I want to say that I am still in sport of the purchase of Chevys, just don't buy ***

I have  Jeep wit the weak stock 4.2L and busted 4wd and i can still make it over a 2 ft wall of snow, with only 31"s.  Oh, and GM put a stronger motor in the Riviera than in the S10 ZR2, thats sad

You have missed my point all together, and after reviewing my last post I can see why.

I simply meant that the legislative rules and regulations that are put into place by congress and the senate for regulating trade within the US and import and export, are constantly being abused by greedy politicians to fit their needs when it when there is a dollar to be made.Need we remember what they did to bell telephone and why, monopoly?

Voting: What good is voting when there are no real choices to vote for? What, are we voting for the lesser of two evils?

Hell there used to be two respectable parties with differant views, Republican and Democrat. Now we have the standard politicians we call Republicans and crazy anti-American libralists who want to rule everyones life with an iron fist, we call them Democrats now. We used to call them nazis.

My point is we need to find a way to get a better choice to vote for, more realistic everyday people like you and me to run this country like it used to be, even if it meant letting a computer pick candidates.
