That is so RIGHT !! I like your view on this subject !! Like my Grandpa always said " It's UN-American not to BUY American !!" And people wonder why our economy is so weak ...they can look at the *** crap or the other Eurotrash that sits in their driveway and answer their own questions !!
My Grandpa used to call people like this "Traitors" because they are not only screwing themselves but everyone else in this country by NOT buying american !!
He has pointed out that VW,BMW and Mercedes used to be the NAZI's main suppliers of war machines AND also took so many Jews to their deaths and now who do you see drive these cars today ?!! How soon do people forget !! Though they still *** about the haulocaust-HA!!
Aso Suzuki & Mitsubishi were the *** equivelents...but the difference here is the *** bombed Pearl Harbor, the coast of California and Oregon and also tried to set the forests of the west coast on fire with unmanned balloons !! No one has a clue to what kind of history lies in what they are driving !! What a joke...the clueless Americans !!!
True Americans DO only drive American steel !!

Too bad there are very few vehicles that are actually "made in America". Most have parts that are made in many different countries. What it comes down to is where does the money go? American pockets or foreign pockets? There are after all foreign vehicles that are built in America, but the sales money goes to foreign pockets. I believe Four wheeler did an article on this.

And I'm afraid it gets worse my friend,I work for a Detroit Diesel distributer and some of the things I see would curl your stomach because it curled mine.
Frieghtliner, Detroit Diesel, Thomas bus,all of chrysler are now owned by the Nazis. And thats just to name a few.
Makes ya wonder how Patton would feel right about now doesnt it.
All of the lives sacrificed on the battle field to put a stop to them, All in vein. Just so greedy politicians who never fought a day in their life could sell out our freedom and country to the enemy!
Yep I think our government needs to be given back to the people . Its time to overhaul the governmental structure to fit the needs of the people by the people, for the people. And to reinstate our constatutional rights as free americans, and kick the asses of those who dont like it.
Sorry got started, couldnt stop. lol

I don't think the gov. had anything to do with Chrysler selling themselves to a German company. The government didn't own Chrysler, a bunch of share holders did, and there was a CEO at the top with a bunch of board members that had lots of stock that wanted to make lots of money, so they made lots of money by selling the company and it's sister companies to some German investors.
The gov't is still for the people and by the people, so technically it's still in our hands. Sometimes it doesn't feel that way though. I think many of our more liberal American neighbors are to blame for that. You know, anti-gun laws, closing of forests, etc. If you think things need to be changed, vote, and excersize your right to free speech, but before you (or any of us for that matter) open your mouth, make sure you have the facts straight. We already have to many yahoo's out there making a big stink about something that they heard through the grapevine and are now taking it as fact.

You have missed my point all together, and after reviewing my last post I can see why.
I simply meant that the legislative rules and regulations that are put into place by congress and the senate for regulating trade within the US and import and export, are constantly being abused by greedy politicians to fit their needs when it when there is a dollar to be made.Need we remember what they did to bell telephone and why, monopoly?
Voting: What good is voting when there are no real choices to vote for? What, are we voting for the lesser of two evils?
Hell there used to be two respectable parties with differant views, Republican and Democrat. Now we have the standard politicians we call Republicans and crazy anti-American libralists who want to rule everyones life with an iron fist, we call them Democrats now. We used to call them nazis.
My point is we need to find a way to get a better choice to vote for, more realistic everyday people like you and me to run this country like it used to be, even if it meant letting a computer pick candidates.

I still don't know that I agree with you entirely, but your point is well made and there is definite truth to it. It is unfortunate that the good folks that run our country often do sell out. There are very few of them left that stick to their guns even when it's unpopular. I believe we may have one as president right now. I believe we also may have a first class sell out as president soon, and all those jobs you are talking about will be gone in the blink of an eye. Hell we all know that Kerry and his wife own lots of business and sent every single job overseas where they wouldn't have to pay taxes, health benefits or anything like that. Unfortunately as the depths of depravity and social and moral decay get worse and worse, we'll see more and more of what you're talking about and then we'll have bigger problems to worry about aside from what car is made where. The worst part is, I don't see an end to it.
The time of voting for the lesser of two evils may soon be upon us, but I don't think it is yet. I read through the book Revelations in the Bible, and see that the time is quickly approaching. My 2 cents anyway.

I wished I didn't agree with me either, and whats worse is I also don't see an end to it anytime soon. But hey, we still have places to wheel and ride and steep hills to climb, and as long as we have that, all is good............lol

"HI! I am a Ford Truck Man! GM is about the worst company there is. I have pulled so many stuck Chevys out of the mud that I can not even remember how many. I have never had to pull out a FORD. My Ford truck could out pull and outdo any Chevy truck in the mud out there!"
If this quote above by FORDTRUCKMAN is not the biggest line of BS I have ever heard, I do not know what is and I have been 4x4'ing for over 30 years now! They both get stuck sometime or another no matter what the brand. It is the tires, suspension and driving techniques that keep you going, not the name plate.

That could not be further from the truth. If it was not for Dodge pushing the Cummins over 10 years ago they might not even be in business today. It show that you can take a lousy truck with a good motor and sell it but the trucks are still lousy today and the new one do not even have axle disconnects or lockout hubs and only Dadge would use a striaght axle in a big truck with no lockout hubs to say a few bucks on production costs.

Dodge has had a few good engines for sure but their trucks still suck over all though they are improving.
