ford-chevy whos betta

the olny reason why ford is even compared to chevy is because right from the dealer they knock a few grand off the sticker to make up buy one..  whats ford stock at right now .............. $5 a share. toyota sells more vehicles then ford and dodge combined.  but still not as much as the big dog chevy thanks

it doesnt matter what you buy... its what you build!!!!!! all trucks have an achelies heel... just gotta modify stuff to fix shortcomings... I have seen trail rigs that have been a lil ford .. a lil chev and any combo you could think of... I have owned both ford and chevy  

They both have there ups and downs For Chevy its IFS for Ford its everything else lol

Actually, last year, Yota out sold Chevy, and sold alot more trucks than GM. They outsold everyone across the board, but still didn't sell more trucks than Ford, so it makes you wonder.

I have raced chevy and ford and they both have problems so i took the best of both and built my nova cool body and realy strong running gear all that matters is can you have fun in it i learned that from my 11year old son and his old dodge he didnt care who made it as long as it got him around the lake bottom

Chevy.

I put my 87 K5 over a guard rail last winter when i hit black ice. Slid on its side for 25 yards. Three tow trucks had to pull it out. Drove it away.

Should i say anymore?  

my stock 97 sierra will drag any ford out there thats stock. ford and dodge are the worst on gas and break down way more than chevy or gmc. my gmc has 260,000 miles and still has original motor and trans and i havent had one problem out of it. i think if i had a choice between ford and walking i would pick WALKING!  

ill just have to gloat about my ford too   in its stock with all orginal parts except the clutch will out climb my friends 87 chevy 2500 with 33s   all i do is throw it in 4 low first gear and up shell go any hill

owned many vehicles over 45 years of driving and my 2000 ford super duty powerstroke 4x4 is by far the best. With almost 150,000 punishing miles (i live 10 miles up a dirt road rain, snow so alot of those miles are with locked hubs) it still runs strong and is still smooth and quiet, no rattles etc., on the pavement.  In addition to normal wear and tear items like brakes shocks etc. i have only replaced an altenator, one leaf from one rear spring, a power steering line, a cam sensor by the flywheel, both front door light switches and 3 plastic drink holders.  All and all amazing i think.  Still running on the original dual batteries and driveline u-joints which is hard to believe considering all the crap i've hauled and how i haul ass. At 62 i been thinkin' about gettin' buried in it when the day comes.  I think it will still be running good enough to get me up that last hill.  

FYI i dont know whos been paying attention to the news lately but ford has been having some big yard sales recently.  Yes they didnt take any gov money, but they also didnt file bankruptcy and get rid of the greedy union cost.  so once they get rid of vovlo (thing they might have) thats all the quick cash they have left.  and i dont think chocolate jesus will be handing out any more cash
