oh by the way i did compare the parts between ford and chevy. you guys must do some serious rebuilding because the only thing slightly cheaper for chevy is motor and tranny parts. I havent needed any yet.

dodge doesn't make a diesel of any kind, If i'm not mistaken...ford currently owns cummins. the dodge only has a contract for the use of the cummins engine which was around before dodge was even thought of.
chevrolet actually has a "chevy" diesel that came along from an oldsmobile design in 78, then in 82 a completely new design which morphed into a 6.5 in 92, untill they started using the izuzu (duramax) which GM owns. so try and keep up ford and dodge lovers, when a 6.5 is built with 18 to 1 compression, 20+pounds of boost with a intercooler, as are the ford and dodge, they can both equal and surpass the fords using a cornbinder (international) 7.3 diesel and the cummins 5.9 found in the dodge.
the hemi is in reference to the hemipherical head design which is now outdated by new technology...back in the day a true hemi did make the difference, still got knocked off by pontiac though.

i agree with all those guys that told u that chevys the way it is im all chevy man u cant get a better truck i have a 2000 chevy 2500 and i think its bad ass man i love my truck i mean yea i would like it a little bit more bad ass but as it is its freaking bad ass i hardly ever get stuck and i go wheelin like every weekend and i dont mean none of that oh i went in the grass yippy i mean real mans muddin put u truck to the test kinda muddin iv replace the rear axle three times already so i dont think i would ever go with a ford at all i mean they have nice trucks for the looks but im a chevy man all the way

I have driven many different types of trucks, and many of our club members have owned different trucks, we all agree that for easiest repair, best parts availability, and cheapest to fix, older chevys take the prize. every 4x4 has their weak points, and every 4x4 breaks, we just run chevys because they work for us. my friend once told me, "there are 2 truths in life, cars break down, and women lie."

yup, so he bought her a truck that she could break all by herself. thank god its a chevy, at least its affordable to fix.
