it kills me to see people talking about #### they dono about. i mean who does? im 16 years old and i posted a lot of usable information in the past month or two. and if i dont know i dont tell even if im no sure of somthing i dont say anything people could ruin there rig spend money where it dint need to be spent or just look like a dumbass on the trail or camp fire.

its just annoying when i hear things that are not true it seems like all the noobies in wheeling talk here and ask questions about some stuff you can figure out in about 20 min on your rig. THATS WHERE YOU LEARN so many questions are asked here that are easyer to look up on this very site. i spent 3 hours firguring out a chevy steering box when i knew people that knew how they worked. but i know a lot more than i did maybe not useful information but still cool to know. (lots of cool stuff in a power steering box you wouldnt see anywhere else)

to all you noobies out here try researching before you ask or try to answer. i have ment drunk hillbillys that are smarter than over half of you (sad but true ) but there are some smart guys out here i know that and thank you for helping me (or me helping you)

I will be building a truck this comeing year and i doubt ill ask any questions here and i know ill learn a whole lot.

skblazer you seem to have a good head on your shoulders if there is any question about the 4.0L touching the 5.7L ANY ONE with a 4.0L Jeep or Ford bring it to me and we will do the only true test build it any way you want and put it up against my STOCK 5.7L Z71 and we will hook up and see which DOG Gets the Bone!

The 5.7L GM will all ways take the 4.0L Jeep or Ford any day any where if you don't believe it BRING IT ON!!!!!

Oh yea just one more note to add I know that the 4.0L Jeep is not bad for what it is.

However THE 4.0L FORD COULD NOT FIGHT ITS WAY OUT OF A WET PAPER BAG ON A GOOD DAY!!!!!!

thanks for the comments but some jeep and/or chevy dislikers what have you may say the 5.7 is not in the same class as a 4.0

SO

before they can say that, the 4.3 will also beat a 4.0

and so far in mags and at the trails i have yet to see a tube buggy powered by anything other than a 4.3 chevy

i mean theres not one i have seen

4.0s are good but a 4.3 is better

sorry jeep fans you lost this race (if im wrong tell me ide like to hear about it)

Ill agree that the chevy 4.3 is a good motor. a friend of mine has one in his 1989 1500 and its a lot of fun to beat around in but im planning on driving my ford until it wont move anymore. As for the jeep 4.0 ive never driven or ridden one but inline 6s like my 4.9 seem to run as long as you take care of them. Doesnt really matter what engine your running as long as it works for you.

jeep 4.0s do hold up and as long as you keep them in jepps they do fine
