One of the things that everyone wants and buys is a winch for their rig.  Four Wheeler published an article on how to use safely these extremely dangerous device in the March issue 2004.  I have not seen antother since that time.  I currently have grandchildren that want to go out with me to learn all that I can show them.  Since a 15,000 pound winch is mounted on the front of my vehicle, that is the first thing that they see, and want to learn.  Simple pulls are obvious, but complex pulls are not.  Literature disscibing proper attachments and how to make them are not easily found.  Situations as they occurred and safe winching solutions for extractions that are well documented and photographed is what I would like to see. This would help make safe winching practices more comon place by your readers.  Everyone wants to sell them, no one wants to tell how dangerous the huge forces applied really are.  Improper use of elastic Tree straps, tow straps, under rated hardware, all need to be aired for your readers safty.

Children ages 8 to 80 allways can use good instruction.  The article in March of 2004 was good, now we need more.

Is this like a radio station all request hour? You know, they will play it if it happens to be on thier playlist but say it was by request? I've been losing interest in the mag the last few months. I really hope you guys can turn it around.

Well when I was a kid I used to love reading about the feature trucks . And Bigfoot. The begining of monster trucks.Following magazine rig builds , learning trail tips.  And later the TTC. I couldn't get enough of the TTC. It seems the TTC gets less and less coverage. I'll be honest it's your strongest seller . I make a living off building people rigs just to compete in the TTC. Whether they ever enter or not that's what they want them built for.

i'm gonna go ahead and say i'd like to see reprints of older truck tests like from the 70's and 80's. also i , like many others i suspect, dont always have the money to buy my upgrades, so i'd like to see a section dedicated to the do-it-yourselfer in each issue.

heres a good example, i have a drw front chevy dana 60 and i need srw wheel hubs for it. i cant afford $320 - $400 for a set, but now i don't have to. i found out that i can have the outter flanges turned down flush with the collar and use slightly longer wheel studs in the inner flange and that basically turns it into a srw dana 60. pretty cool i think, and it saved me a ton of money!!
