i manage an exhaust shop, and if it were my vehicle i would have to have a flowmaster cat-back system.  flowmaster has some of the best sounding systems money can buy.  that is just my opinion of course

Not too surprizing on the burn valve as with zero back pressure the mixture tends to lean out which can burn valves. In the old day with carbs we would jet them a bit richer when headers and open exhausts were used.
