you might check out www.high-tec-retreading.com  they have 35x12.50x15 for $95  or a 37x12.50x16.5 for $130  granted they dont have as many sizes available. But if they have the size you need they are fairly cheap.

believe it or not when it comes to tires you get what you pay for alot of people gripe about tire prices because you pay for the name but you know what they are right you are paying for a name...a name that has tested and proved the worth of their tires and how great they perform so when looking for a good tire buy one that is a popular model for what you do with your truck so you know you will get the best life out of it........If you have a lifted truck and it is a daily driver that doesn't go off road much buy allterrains they will save you money in the long run plus they won't hurt your gas mileage as bad........if you have a truck that stays in the dirt, mud, rocks, snow,or what ever other terra firma it may be besides the pavement spend the extra money and get good name brand tires

Best advice in this thread is right above me here.. "You get what you pay for." This has to be the most true statement I have heard in my life, and one I try to personaly live by.

To answer your question, Remington makes a nice mud tire that is priced  competitivly. The Mud Brutes. Only down side, they don't last very long. My friend had a set, 35's, lasted less than 15,000 miles, mostly all street use.

I have found the Mud King brand to be a good tire for a reasonable price.

Well the cheapest is always free!

Over the last week a buddy bought a 79 CJ7 w/360,t400,qtrac and it had a set of 35"x15" Yokohama Geolander M/Ts w/more than 70% tread left. So he went and upgraded to 17" M/Ts and didnt want to screw w/them so he gave them to me and now my cherokee has a newer set of shoes!

i can get you NEW tires for 10% over cost if you are'nt looking to go too big. and yes, retreads, when done properly are ok. but ya better know what yer lookin at!!! tire condition is more than tread depth. you need to look for bead damage (cut chafer, kinks in bead, etc), sidewall separation from a run flat, various sidewall repairs, among other things. you do get what you pay for...safety and quality are worth paying for.
even if you don't buy my tires, i urge you to buy the best you can get.

ya i agree fith fatguy, you dont know where the doner carcass has been, now.. dont go off and not consider retreads, there are reputable companies out there who have no designs on having a defective product suit, put on them or their dealers, biiigg naughty.
most larger retreaders are gonna give an exelent quality product for the money, hey if you can run 80 thousand pound PLUS, rig on and off road, on retreads,if properly broken in, yes i know, some of you are gonna say, well if their that good... well like anything, if you run them gently for the first miles, if theyr gonna blow, its gonna be then. after that, run the wee out of them! again this is just my opinion, and like belly buttons..

I agree w/you 2 too, but I looked close at them and they look good. tread is fine w/70% left the beads are good with no chunks missing and lugs arent chunked out and the valleys look good too.I accepted them cause the old 30"ers I had on there were bald and some cords sticking through so these "newer" tires wont hurt anything.Ill eventually shoot for 38"s but until then these will do.

Do you fatguy or naughty know if BANDAG make retreads in the 35"-38" size or are they mainly Tractor/trailer tires?
