I'm glad I came out too, it's been awhile since I was able to wheel without issues. Heck, I even took the truck around the block when I got home. Glad you guys had fun, I don't know that area too well but I tried. We only ended up on one rabbit trail so that's a new record for me. The dry ice bombs weren't too bad until they threw one by my truck and the cap left a dent in my driver's door. I had to play the grouchy old guy and yell at them, but it sure was quiet afterwards. Kevin, the Jeep looked like it was doing well, it dure surprised me a couple times with how close you were sticking to us. Josh's truck definately works better with the front done, only probelm is it showed the weakness in the otherwise superior rear end. Sorry for the ride in my truck, links will be expensive. Jon kept up as usual, with Jess smiling the whole time. Kyle, get rid of the Chevy balljoints. How was the ride home?

It didn't occur to me until the ride home that I even had my camera so no pics from me. I definately had fun and towing with the new tires wasn't too bad, averaged about 15.5 MPG. Only down 1 MPG or so from stock.

Eh, my ball joints suck. Im going to replace the passenger upper with a moog in the next few days. The others will remain until I get a lift, at which time I will replace all 4 with moog. Besides that ball joint my truck did just fine, for not having any susp upgrades.

brian, ya thanks man! it's going to be an interesting budget link set up. in the mean time i'm gunna add some rebound and try removing a spring or two. word on the street that helps with my lack of "race weight" in the bed of my truck.

kyle, please don't put a lift on your truck unlees it involves a d44 and some leaf's! don't worry about the semantics about the sas, just keep your eye on the prize and we'll make it happen lol

Leafs? Leafs are for horse and buggies. We can totally link Kyles front end for the same amount of cash and it will work 100x's better... we have the technology.

Kyle's truck would be pretty sweet with a linked Dana 44 up front. I know a guy who did one that works pretty sweet if you need any bad ideas. It would sit quite a bit higher tho.

Hey Josh, do you have any pics of my truck going off the jump?

I would love it if my truck had a sfa. Lots of work and money though. But like you guys said, in the end it'll be worth it. This guy has leafs, but I love how this truck looks!!!

Damn that s10 looks sic! I would be so jealous if you sfa'd your truck! I'm still shoppin for a smaller rig for a decent price. Once I pay off my Snap-on bill I will have some extra cash to thrown down. Then the Burb becomes a tow rig!

Looks like you boys had a great time! Wish I coulda made it! But tires on my wife's Acura owned my weekend funds!
