search suspension lifts for 99-2001 Ranger- the chassis and suspension ARE the same as the Mazda as jonny said -- I have 99 Mazda B4000-- you'll have an easier time finding a 5" lift-- Superlift sells one w/shocks for $1500-- RCD Suspension has a 5" for $2300 ----3" and 4" are available through other companies but for the same money you can go taller-- hope I helped--I've been looking for mine-- can't afford right now-- by the way I,m new to the forum- not new to the game-- looking forward to talking to ya "gearheads"

All 4WD Ranger "lifts" have some downfall.
First we have the Superlift. While it is a nice kit, I don't personally like how the torsion bars hang down after the lift. But every lifted torsion bar truck is the same way so in the end it is not a huge deal. Also, if you don't upgrade to their double-cardon (sp?) driveshaft you will have problems with yours. It is going to wear out the rubber impregnated "tulip" style joint that they use on the transfercase.
Next up would be Traildisaster... I mean Trailmaster. Same concept as the Superlift.... just yea... get the Superlift.
Next we have the RCD. The RCD Kit has a few flaws. One it can't be used on 98 1/2" or older trucks with the Pulse vacuum Hubs because there is no hole for the vacuum line. This can be fixed with a new set of AVM manual hubs. Also the RCD Kit can't be used on 2003 or newer trucks due to the increased rotor size. This can also be fixed by using 2002 or older rotors and caliper brackets. The other downsize is the clearance at the front crossmember. It is miserable at best. RCD also has very limited up travel. The good part to the RCD kit is that it replaces the torsion bars with coilovers.
I can't leave out Dixon Brothers. Dixon Brother Racing makes an AWESOME Long Travel kit for your truck. Look at Project RangeRunner. I also have this kit and absolutely love it. It won't provide much lift, but it does provided added ground clearance (from larger tires) and probably the best articulation of any of 'lifts' for these trucks. It is also more than double the cost of the others, but by far worth every penny.
And lastly there is the 3" PA body lift. Which I'm sure you know all about.
So those are your five choices for lifting your Mazda. Enjoy!
